Another Zoo Adventure

On Sunday, Mike and I decided to take Owen to the zoo for something fun to do since the weather was so nice. I think this was our 5th or 6th time going this summer and it is pretty cute to see how much he is enjoying it now and is really aware of his surroundings.

Our first stop of the day was to see the new baby elephant. She is only out for a couple hours a day, so we were lucky to catch her this trip. She is so cute!

Owen got to feed the giraffe. You can't see his face here, but he did a great job. The giraffe licked the food right off his hand!

This little boy didn't want to ride in his stroller, but preferred walking like a big boy. Here he is walking out the zoo with his Daddy. 

Finally worn out from all the walking. So annoyed he covered his face when I tried to snap a quick picture. 

...He managed just enough energy to take a quick ride on his horse during story time before bed. It was a great weekend filled with quality family time :)
