C-A-R-D-S

For those of you who don't know, my Dad is a financial adviser by day and has for the past couple of decades been a basketball referee for a fun hobby during basketball season. He has generally always officiated Division III and some Division II teams. Recently he has become well connected with people in the know with the UofL basketball program. In August he and my Mom flew with the team to the Bahamas for a week so Dad could ref their scrimmage games against several Bahamian teams. A free, all expense paid vacation and a round of golf with Coach Pitino pretty much was an awesome experience for him!

Last weekend, UofL hosted a private scrimmage for some of their top boosters and they asked Dad to ref. Mike and I were in town, so we went over to the scrimmage to watch. It was really fun to be able to sit right down by the court and listen to Coach P lead practice with the team.

Owen got a little antsy, so Mike took him on a walk..Low and behold they stumbled upon the free appetizers and Owen came back with an egg roll. What 16 month old eats egg rolls?!
