It is so hard to believe in less than two weeks our little boy is going to be TWO! Where in the world has the time gone? For his second birthday, we decided to purchase a swing set for our backyard. We knew it was a purchase that would get a ton of use not only by Owen, but also Olivia. We ended up purchasing the set from Sam's Club and are very happy with the look and quality. To have someone put it together for us would have cost $500, so we opted to tackle the project ourselves. A couple of months ago, Mike helped Nick put together Ben's swing set, so we knew we could count on him to help us. Mike also suckered our college friend Joey into helping as well. The set came in three huge boxes and seemed like an overwhelming task. Two days later and the job was complete!

While the dads were busy working away on the swing set, the boys played in the water table all afternoon!
...and then decided to put on the football helmets! I wish I could have captured a video of Owen trying to get it off his head screaming, "I Stuck. I stuck!"

And it is done!! This little boy has already played his heart out on this thing. In true Owen fashion, he spends a lot of time climbing up the slide and being a little daredevil. Happy Birthday sweet boy! We love you!
