Owen's first cold

Nothing is worse than a baby who doesn't feel good and you can't do anything for them. Last Thursday, Owen woke up with a cough, congestion and green drainage like you wouldn't believe. He was also running a low grade fever of 99.3. I called the pediatrician and they said there really isn't anything to do for them when they are that young other than a cool mist humidifier and sitting them in their carseat to help everything drain out. I did both of these things and they seemed to really help. Luckily, he wasn't fussy because we left for our vacation first thing Friday morning. The fever is gone, but he still is sneezing all kinds of crap out of his nose. Needless to say, momma hasn't gone anywhere without the bulb syringe. My boy isn't gonna be a snot nose :)
