Our sweet baby boy is already four months old. We are still trying to figure out where the time has gone, but in the meantime, we are enjoying every last second with him. The past month has been a little challenging with adjusting to the daycare way of life. With me being back at work full time, it has meant less time with Owen, but the time we are with him is even more precious. He has battled an ear infection, a nasty cold and a scare with pink eye. We learned he doesn't like Amoxicillin after he got really sick each time we gave it to him. He also was on the Similac formula that was recalled so we are currently making do with the ready to feed. I pray the powder gets back on the shelves soon because the ready to feed is making the car seat blowouts even worse! At his four month appointment, he checked out healthy. Current signs indicate he is still on track to get the Ballenger height!
Height: 26.5 inches (95th percentile)
Weight: 14 lbs. 13 oz. (50th percentile)
Since Owen is officially old enough for cereal now, we decided to bust out the high chair and give it a try. It started off well, but ended not so good.
Hey guys. Look at me. I'm cool. Oh yeah!
Not sure if I am supposed to eat the spoon or the cereal?
Forget this. Better luck next time!
One thing hasn't changed in four months. Owen still loves napping in his swing! It won't be long and he isn't going to fit.
