As previously blogged, Mike and I just took a four night, five day vacation with our best friends Nick and Adrienne (baby free) to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We left last Wednesday morning and returned late Sunday night. The trip was all around absolutely amazing. Our travel was about as smooth as it comes, despite my newfound terror of flying. The weather was in the low to mid 80's every day with no clouds in the sky. The drinks were cold and surprisingly the food was pretty decent for an all inclusive resort. The name of the resort is Vallarta Palace and is one of the
Palace resorts locations. I would definitely go back, but would spend the extra money on a nicer room. There are so many pictures I want to put on the blog, so I am going to be breaking the posts into three parts-stay tuned!
This is a shot of the beach right outside of the resort. It was a really nice beach, great to walk on and beautiful scenery.

One angle of the pool. It was huge and we had a whole section of chairs to ourselves every day. It wasn't crowded at all which made it nice and peaceful.

On our last night we took a cab to downtown Puerto Vallarta. It was so beautiful and surprisingly pretty American-ized. We saw a ton of Americans walking around and felt safe.
