House Guests

This weekend was filled with lots of good food, great company and hot weather. Mike's mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt and cousin all came to Indianapolis for an end of summer gathering. Friday night we pretty much took it easy and caught up with Mike's parents. Saturday morning all of the boys hit the links for a 7:40 a.m tee time while the girls went out to lunch at one of my favorite spots in Indy, Cafe Patachou! After dinner, we celebrated Mike's birthday (which isn't until the 19th) and he was able to open gifts from his family. His mom and I also surprised him with cupcakes from The Flying Cupcake in Indy. If you haven't checked it out, I would highly recommend it! We had a a great time being able to catch up with one another and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again in the fall.
